International Traveller baby, family, and 15 months!

So, we just got back from our trip abroad. We went to Ireland and London. It was Sophie’s first international trip.

She was great on the planes. Mostly she slept, when she was awake, she was really well behaved! We even got compliments.

Ireland.

Ireland was fantastic. Even though it rained every day we were there, it didn’t slow us down at all. We visited a lot of sites in Dublin. I really enjoyed walking around downtown and hearing about the history. Sophie loved the ducks at St Stephens green. We also took a few day trips. We went to Glendalough and Kilkenny, which were both simply stunning. Glendalough had the sort of mist over the mountains historic feel you expect from ireland, and Kilkenny was full of european charm. I really enjoyed listening to the tour guide share information about ireland and history. We also visited Howth, a really beautiful seaside town and another town who’s name keeps escaping me with a pretty castle. I loved the castles!

London

London was such a special trip. It was Sophies first time to meet her aunt, uncle, cousin, and grandma! It was so great to spend time with them. The girls got along so well and everyone was so sweet. We visited the classic sites in central London, I especially loved the London eye and the view of london from way up high. We even got to see a rainbow from the sky! Sophie’s favorite part was probably chasing pigeons in Trafalgar square! lol! She also turned 15 months old in London! I can’t believe how  fast she continues to grow! We also took a trip to Oxford and got to see something outside of London. The whole family went and it was so nice just to be able to walk around with them and talk as we explored.

Now we’re back home and settling down from the vacation. We miss everyone already!!! And, Chirag is ready to travel again already 🙂 But its definitely good to be home. Legolas definitely missed us and we missed him too!

Anyway, ttyl!
